Nancy Galway, BSW, RSW, MH

Nancy is a life enhancer who helps people who are overwhelmed by the stress in their lives with her business Snow Angels Sanctuary. A free spirit, she has spent almost half of her life living and working in Canada’s Arctic. Nancy is also employed by Venture Healthcare as a travel social worker and does contracts with the Nunavut Government. She also has had her 3 minutes of fame as a reality TV star on “The Learning Channels” hit reality show “Say Yes to the Dress”, in New York.

Born with an innate desire to save the world, Nancy began a formal career in social work in 2003 when she graduated from the University of Manitoba. That year she was fulfilling her career as a parole officer, again in Canada’s Arctic. The graduation followed her many years in the correctional system doing various jobs, as well as, working in other areas of the human services field. Her education also includes a certificate in aromatherapy, a master herbalist diploma, and a textile art diploma. She is very excited about her recent educational pursuit which was completing her Kundalini Yoga Teacher training in Montreal.
A lover of nature and animals, she has become an animal rescuer and advocate for rights of all creatures. She now lives on the Quebec, Ontario border, with her husband Pierre, and with her Snow Angels dog team comprised of 11 huskies and her many loving cats.
