Lorraine Montoya

Lorraine is the Regional Program Educator at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Lorraine’s work is focused on helping health care professionals in the community to implement evidence-based management of cardiac disease. She has also worked with community groups in facilitating healthy lifestyle change and has been involved in research around helping people prevent the development of heart disease.
Her education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Nursing Science and a minor in Counseling Women. She also holds a Masters Degree in Adult Education.
