Both Ian Hepburn and Christos Bereris have provided therapeutic harp music to the patients of Hawkesbury & District General Hospital for several years and both have trained and been certified as VAHT practitioners by Sarajane Williams (the originator of VAHT). In 2007, Ian Hepburn introduced VAHT to Hawkesbury General where it was subsequently adopted as a service to patients – making the hospital the first in North America to offer VAHT to its patients.
