DOWNSTAIRS ON THE PINK CARPET SHOWCASE AREA, THERE WILL BE SPECIAL PERFORMANCES AND FASHION SHOWS ALL DAY LONG!

 

From 10:15 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., your emcee will be Bruce Golden, well-known country music entertainer in the region!

10:30 a.m.: Judy Chambers and the Crazy Legs Dance Club will warm up the carpet with some dance demonstrations!

11:00 a.m.: Nathalie Belanger from Club 352 Fitness in Hawkesbury will show us a workout!
11:30 a.m.: Learn how to defend yourself! Learn some strategic moves from a professional Ontario Provincial Police training officer so you can defend yourself.
12:00 noon: Jazz Singer Janice Harrington will sing some of her favourite jazz numbers for us! More info and the bio of this Vegas headliner soon!
12:30 p.m.: Zumba! Zumba! Amy Cooper will give us an introduction to zumba!
1:00 p.m.: Belly-dancing demonstration. Is it good for you or just plain fun? Maybe it is both. Enjoy the talents of instructor Anann Yassin, who will be joined by some of her students. 

From 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Your emcee will be Tammy Oswick-Kearney.

1:30 p.m.: Dave Dragone and his daughter, Gina Dragone. Find yourself! Join the drumming circle and be pleasantly surprised at how good it feels! More info and bio coming soon!
2:00 p.m.: Dany Roussel of Jiu Jitsu (Hawkesbury) will demonstrate kick-boxing.
2:30 p.m.: Jockey — Person to Person. A Fashion Show! Presented by representatives Hélène Gagnon and Rachel Cardinal.
3:00 p.m.: Laughter yoga! Come learn and laugh! Presented by: Brigitte Legal and Nicole Chartrand.
3:30 p.m.: Laurentian Regional High School Cheer Squad
4:00 p.m.: FASHION SHOW presented by TriCycle  and Chaussures Monik of Lachute.
UPSTAIRS at the Vankleek Hill Community Centre will be dedicated to keynote speakers, who will talk to women in an cozy setting about a range of topics, all fitting within the five show categories: 

  • Careers & Training
  • Finance
  • Health & Fitness
  • Fashion & Style
  • Travel & Leisure

The Vankleek Hill Fiddle and Dance Association is providing us with volunteers to ensure that parking at the show runs smoothly all day. Thanks to these volunteers for making our show better!

Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute Principal Jeff Campbell and the Upper Canada District School Board have allowed Yes, Women Can! the use of the high school parking lot for additional parking space for exhibitors and visitors!
