I started exploring photography over 20 years ago with a 110 camera I received as a Christmas gift from my parents. Shortly after, I was doing impromptu portraiture basically with anyone who would allow it! I remember paying special attention to composition, lighting and the likes—without knowing at the time, that these were some of the basics of photography. Suffice to say I was hooked! I remember being so excited
that I couldn’t stop taking pictures, roll after roll… and I’ve never stopped since: for me, for family and friends and in the last few years, for others as well (namely for The Review)—and I love it! I like connecting with people, getting to know them and what makes them special and unique and most of all, trying my best to capture all that in a photograph…

I am very honoured and blessed to have had the opportunity to meet and capture the 20 women “models” for the 2011 edition of Yes Women Can. These are “real and true” women who love what they do. Looking at my photographs, I hope you see and feel their passion, their pride and commitment.

Everyone has a story. I love to stop, listen and capture that story.

Sláinte!
