Slide Show from 2011 Yes, Women Can

Feedback from our April 17th, 2011 Yes, Women Can! show:

Louise Febril

Hi Louise,
Congratulations, it was absolutely amazing.
I tried to get to you and congratulate you last night, but you were so busy, surrounded with so many happy ladies wanting to chat.
I had 8 women show up for the my Ovarian Cancer presentation, very interested ladies at that.  I hope all the other at least read the factsheets in their goodie bags.
Thanks for having me (the ladies present said they want to listen to me again in 2 years….isn’t that motivation!!!
Have a great day! (get some rest)

“Congratulations to you and all your staff and volunteers for the EXCELLENT job in organizing and serving your clients at the TRADE SHOW yesterday.  You are most likely tired today with the take down and clean up, but it was a great success and very positive day for everyone. Thanks again Tish.”

“Congratulations to a successful Yes women can show! It was very well done, and very well attended. Carole did a beautiful job with her large bouquets of flowers and all the rest of it.
Thanks for the free ticket and passes, they were all used.
Today I dropped off a write up on the History of the Children’s Tulip & Spring flower show. We celebrate the 40th anniversary this year, and I would like to get the word out, I want to see 40 children participating. I just hope that the weather warms up, to get those tulips growing.
Maybe you can use this info for a short article or publish it as a letter, feel free to edit.
I will publish the different classes on May 4 and follow it up with an ad. The show is on May 14. I would like to request a photographer for 1 pm. Thank you,  Monika”

“Dear Shirley, Louise and Irene,
Thanks so much for making us welcome at your amazing event! What a transformation of a Canadian hockey arena into a beautiful calm and soothing and exciting space. I could have moved into that front entrance. It was a great show with so many talented women with so much great energy. Looking forward to the next one already.
We met many more families with children and teenagers with Autism and Asperger’s who were all happy to know there was a support group for them in the region.
Many thanks again! Katie”

“Hi Louise,
Wow, YWC was such an amazing and extremely well organized event. These words can’t do justice to how good it was.
Mom and I had such a great time making the rounds between the amazing speakers and the exhibits, and running into people we knew along the way, and the whole vibe of the place was positive.
Glad we had a chance to chat for a bit during your busy schedule.
Again, kudos for your amazing organization.
Wenda”
